DESCRIPTION:¡CORTE! 2026 | Se abren oficialmente las inscripciones para el taller de cine de JIIFF\, dirigido a chicos/as entre 8 y 18 años. \nDel 23 al 29 de enero\, en paralelo a las funciones y actividades de la 16ta edición de JIIFF\, se realiza este laboratorio de cine en el que los estudiantes aprenden a filmar un cortometraje que luego es exhibido en la pantalla del festival. \n¡Corte! se da en tres grupos divididos según las edades de los alumnos\, y cada grupo tiene profesores y un enfoque específico. \nKIDS – Para niños/as de 8 a 11 años‍\nFILM LAB – Para adolescentes de 11 a 14 años\n‍FILM LAB +15 – Para preuniversitarios/as de 15 a 18 años \nDe forma lúdica y a través de la experimentación se trabajan las distintas etapas que integran el proceso de realización: investigación\, creatividad\, desarrollo\, escritura de guion\, rodaje\, edición\, post producción y proyección. \nEn esta edición\, ¡Corte! profundiza su enfoque en la dirección de actores y el entrenamiento corporal\, combinando instancias de exploración física\, ejercicios teatrales y trabajo frente a cámara. \nPara cerrar el taller\, los cortos realizados por los alumnos se estrenan en la misma pantalla donde se exhiben las películas y cortometrajes programados en JIIFF\, en una instancia especial para que puedan disfrutarlo junto a sus familias e invitados. \nInscripciones abiertas. ¡Cupos limitados!\nMás información en http://www.joseignaciofilmfestival.com \nContacto corte@joseignaciofilmfestival.com

DESCRIPTION:Inauguración de «La imposibilidad de asir la naturaleza»\, una muestra bipersonal de las artistas peruanas Luisa Fernanda Lindo y Gihan Tubbeh. \nEn ‘La imposibilidad de asir la naturaleza’ las obras de Luisa Fernanda Lindo y Gihan Tubbeh tienen en común el gesto de buscar la anatomía de la naturaleza en el trazo. Sea en el intento de marcar la silueta de las piedras recogidas en desiertos a lo largo de los años\, sea en los frotagges sobre los azulejos que revisten la Casa Cohen (1905) en la ciudad de Iquitos\, con el afán de despertar reflexiones acerca de las consecuencias del extractivismo en pos de un sistema que atenta contra la naturaleza en su concepción más amplia.

DESCRIPTION:Inauguración de «Simbologías del rastro»\, una muestra bipersonal de los artistas José Carlos Martinat y Mariano León. \nJosé Carlos Martinat y Mariano León convergen en una operación de observación profunda y reconfiguración de los signos que definen el territorio. Mientras Martinat\, en su serie Pintas\, extrae fragmentos de muros donde la propaganda agroindustrial y corporativa se impone como una grafía de poder económico\, León\, en Plumarios\, subvierte la jerarquía del textil prehispánico reemplazando la pluma sagrada por guantes industriales descartados.\nAmbos artistas operan desde la apropiación material: el rastro de la pintura mural y el residuo del trabajo manual intensivo se convierten en “estandartes del presente”. Aquí\, lo cotidiano\, ya sea el muro urbano o el cuero desgastado por la minería\, pierde su función utilitaria para sacralizarse como vestigio. La muestra propone un puente conceptual donde la memoria táctil del esfuerzo humano y la ocupación simbólica del espacio común revelan las tensiones invisibles entre la historia ancestral\, el orden industrial y las narrativas de identidad colectiva. \nJosé Carlos Martinat and Mariano León converge in an operation of deep observation and reconfiguration of the signs that define territory. While Martinat\, in his Pintas series\, extracts wall fragments where agro-industrial and corporate propaganda is imposed as a graphic of economic power\, León\, in Plumarios\, subverts the hierarchy of pre-Hispanic textiles by replacing sacred feathers with discarded industrial gloves.\nBoth artists operate through material appropriation: the trace of mural painting and the residue of intensive manual labor are transformed into “banners of the present.” Here\, the everyday—whether the urban wall or leather worn thin by mining—sheds its utilitarian function to be sacralized as a vestige. This exhibition proposes a conceptual bridge where the tactile memory of human effort and the symbolic occupation of common space reveal the invisible tensions between ancestral history\, industrial order\, and narratives of collective identity.
