DESCRIPTION:Inauguración de «Simbologías del rastro»\, una muestra bipersonal de los artistas José Carlos Martinat y Mariano León. \nJosé Carlos Martinat y Mariano León convergen en una operación de observación profunda y reconfiguración de los signos que definen el territorio. Mientras Martinat\, en su serie Pintas\, extrae fragmentos de muros donde la propaganda agroindustrial y corporativa se impone como una grafía de poder económico\, León\, en Plumarios\, subvierte la jerarquía del textil prehispánico reemplazando la pluma sagrada por guantes industriales descartados.\nAmbos artistas operan desde la apropiación material: el rastro de la pintura mural y el residuo del trabajo manual intensivo se convierten en “estandartes del presente”. Aquí\, lo cotidiano\, ya sea el muro urbano o el cuero desgastado por la minería\, pierde su función utilitaria para sacralizarse como vestigio. La muestra propone un puente conceptual donde la memoria táctil del esfuerzo humano y la ocupación simbólica del espacio común revelan las tensiones invisibles entre la historia ancestral\, el orden industrial y las narrativas de identidad colectiva. \nJosé Carlos Martinat and Mariano León converge in an operation of deep observation and reconfiguration of the signs that define territory. While Martinat\, in his Pintas series\, extracts wall fragments where agro-industrial and corporate propaganda is imposed as a graphic of economic power\, León\, in Plumarios\, subverts the hierarchy of pre-Hispanic textiles by replacing sacred feathers with discarded industrial gloves.\nBoth artists operate through material appropriation: the trace of mural painting and the residue of intensive manual labor are transformed into “banners of the present.” Here\, the everyday—whether the urban wall or leather worn thin by mining—sheds its utilitarian function to be sacralized as a vestige. This exhibition proposes a conceptual bridge where the tactile memory of human effort and the symbolic occupation of common space reveal the invisible tensions between ancestral history\, industrial order\, and narratives of collective identity.
